Listen carefully to understand client goals, identify design opportunities within the culture and context to create responsive, connective, innovative and inspiring solutions.

Bob is a creative problem solver and develops thoughtful solutions that bring value and clarity to elevate the design.  He believes understanding the history and context of a particular place is essential to enrich each project. His expertise over a broad spectrum of project types and ability to work at multiple scales inform his approach to planning and design. Bob explores innovation in detail and craft and advances sustainable and inventive approaches to materials and technology.

Bob manages multi-disciplinary teams on a wide range of institutional and residential projects in the US and abroad. Recent work includes the UC Riverside School of Business, the University of Denver Community Commons, the Asia School of Business in Kuala Lumpur, the Tepper Quad Project at Carnegie Mellon University, and the Thunderbird School of Management at Arizona State University.  Bob also leads multiple courthouse projects for the Judicial Council of California.
