Don graduated with honors from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 1979 and has over 40 years of experience in a variety of project types. For the past 30 years Don has focused on complex institutional projects that include embassy compounds, university and healthcare. As Project Architect, his responsibilities included planning, technical coordination and agency approvals. He has managed major renovations and additions, new construction from the earliest programming phases through design and construction. His projects have included US Embassies in Mexico, Chad, Finland, Dominican Republic, and The Netherlands, as well as several projects in health care and laboratories.
Don is a Registered Architect in the State of California, a member of the American Institute of Architects, and is a LEED Accredited Professional in Building Design and Construction.
